AFTA Post # 2

You should have read Book 2 (Chapters 13-24) in the novel thus far. Please answer the following questions as they relate to the novel. Be specific in your response and include proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Make sure you provide a detailed account and feel free to offer your own interpretation as well.

Your response is two-fold and is due by August 10th. Again, if you have trouble posting please just EMAIL me your response.

1. Examine why Catherine is afraid of the rain. What is she afraid of and why isn't she afraid when she is with Lt. Henry??

2. Explain why Lt. Henry has a hard time distinguishing between reality and illusion.

The office had all summer novels run through with the end of the year novels. Please do not worry - you will NOT get charged a fine. Continue to read and complete your summer assignment at your leisure. Try to get your post in or email me by July 10th with your response to post # 1. Make sure you stay tuned for post # 2 which will be up on August 1st!
